Grand Canyon

Since I will be starting call at the end of April, we figured that we had better get away before we can't. So to get away we went to the Grand Canyon!!!!

My husband says this was one of the cheapest family vacations we have been on. For some reason, which we are very greatful for and not expecting, they let us into the park for free (I think it's earth day), and then we got a great deal on a hotel and packed our own lunches and water. It turned out to be a great trip and great price. Good thinking Steven!

Our family always did those "cheap" vacations :) Those ones are the best! My crazy bro-in-law hiked the grand canyon last June from rim to rim to rim within 24 hours (48 miles), and I think he is absolutely nuts.
I loved the wild hair but especially I loved that wild cake. You are very skilled in that dept.
What does going back to "call" mean? Is that a certain job? Aren't you a nurse?

I love Callie's hat. Looks like fun wish we could have gone.

The grand canyon is one of my favorite places ever! Lots of family trips there! But camping is the way to go!

The Grand Canyon is a nice place to go. Steven, his dad, Lisa and brothers hiked the Grand Canyon when the kids were in their teens. Glad you didn't fall in. As children we camped there with our parents. When stopping by the little store, there was a man with long hair, long beard, and shoeless - we ran home telling our parents we had seen Jesus! It was a fun time. Camping is free in Arizona until April 25th.
